Sites and services

A site of care is the location (or operational site) where a service is delivered. An enabled service is a care offering with its national service code and scheduling rules.

  1. Open sites configuration in the Organization Portal (IPS) or Independent Portal (Independent Provider).
  2. Enter site identity, timezone, and contact fields the form requires.
  3. Mark headquarters only when that site is the headquarters.
  4. Save. Booking and emails use the site timezone.
  1. Open service parameters for the site.
  2. Add or adopt a service the organization is allowed to offer.
  3. Set group, modality, duration, and any price fields the form shows.
  4. Save before providers publish availability.

Patients cannot book a service that is not enabled on a bookable site, even if a provider is available.

Some sites also store rooms, cubicles, or vehicles. Add them when your service needs a resource, not as a substitute for the site itself.
